The Taylor Taliesin Foundation is a family foundation within the registered charity, Canada Gives. The donors who established the Taylor Taliesin Foundation are responsible for all funding choices, while Canada Gives assumes all of the administration and reporting duties.

OUR MISSION & PHILOSOPHY

The Taylor Taliesin Foundation’s mission is to support and empower women and children through arts and education. The foundation primarily focuses its funding on programs in these three areas: Fine Arts & Theatre, Literacy and Adult Education & Skills Development. The foundation is dedicated to directly engaging with grant recipients and establishing efficient processes in order to streamline giving and develop long term, mutually beneficial relationships. It primarily supports local and regional initiatives in Vancouver’s Lower Mainland, Squamish, Shuswap, although the operations of several chosen organizations have extended beyond these areas.

Completed grant application forms should be forwarded to clientservices@canadagives.ca with the subject line: “Grant Request for the Taylor Taliesin Foundation”
Only applicants being considered for a grant will be contacted.

APPLICATION DEADLINE

October 1st each year
Applications received between Oct 2 – Dec 31 each year will not be considered.

GRANT RANGE

$500 – $10,000

APPLICATION PROCESS

Canada Gives will only notify charities who have been accepted for funding once the donor family have made their selection.
